Evolution is absolute at Flatstack™ Systems!
We are currently running production studies of the Flatstack™ Metro which feature a lightweight core.
The Metro is scaled for children age 10-18, comfortable for many ages.
The Cosmopolitan is the largest model we will offer. Sized at 16" x 32" x 1" per panel, this model serves adults of all sizes.
This unit will be offered in high end gallery iterations and moderately priced all purpose / all terrain editions.
Elegant in it's simplicity, the Stacksling™ is a combination of sturdy, supple leather and wooden toggles.
Toggled ends slip through system and reconnect to sling within seconds; offering rapid assembly and breakdown.
Design with intent: Offset circular and triangular voids discourage swing caused by the human stride.
We're working through concepts for the Stacksack™. We envision a divided backpack tote which affords simple transport for 1-4 Flatstack™ units. Stackfans are heavy on outdoor activities, we'll be sure to include compartments for water and personal electronics within the design. Stay tuned for concept sketches...

Signed Collector’s Editions:
Each production study serves as an advancement in design and production. We fabricate a short batch of systems and bring them out into the world for discovery sessions. These sessions inform the next steps in the evolution of the product. Once we’ve learned all we can from a certain study, we offer it as a signed collector’s edition.
Collector’s editions are labeled and initialed by the innovator who developed the concept.
Each are numbered and labeled with the production date.
Each collector who purchases a signed edition will receive a certificate of authenticity which details the production date, the elements of the piece, and the design aspects which were resolved through the production of the series.

One of only two units produced, this model pre-dates the hardwood frame / veneer series. The plastic laminate models were the first to explore frame and skin construction. These studies feature the foreshortened seat width and masonite / laminate skins.
This study represents the "Missing Link" in the Flatstack™ evolutionary chain.
